The Magician's Nephew

The book, The Magicians Nephew, by C.S.Lewis has 221 pages. In this story two children from London, Digory and Polly, travel to a magical place called Charn there they find Jadis, Queen of Charn. All three go back to London and then go to a place called The Woods Between the World than by magic they appeared in a place called Narnia. In Narnia they find Aslan, the lion, while Digory, his uncle, and Polly are there Aslan tells Digory to get an apple and bring it back. When he brings it back he plants a seed and then picks a magic apple to bring back to London that heals his ill mother. The main conflict in The Magicians Nephew is Character vs. character because throughout the book Digory and Jadis fought.

The main conflict in The Magicians Nephew is Character vs. character because throughout the book Digory and Jadis fought. Every time they would meet or run into each other one of them either got hurt or threatened. Jadis got threatened twice because she had gotten too close to Digory and he threatened her by telling her that he would go back to London if she got any closer. Digory only got hurt once and that was when Jadis pinched his ear really hard when he and Polly were about to go back to London from Charn. I highly recommend this book to all!
